Evolve Dance Academy History

Evolve Dance Academy was established in 1999 as The Victoria Jane School of Dance by Victoria Jane Hughes in ISTD Freestyle and Rock n Roll.

In September 2016 the school was taken over by Tina, a teacher who had taught very closely with Victoria since 2012. In keeping with the school’s excellent standards of teaching in a professional, fun, friendly and safe environment the school continued to expand with the introduction of new dance genres as well as GCSE Dance to all pupils.

In January 2019 the school was given a new look and officially changed names to become Evolve Dance Academy “a professional academy with all dance genres under one roof” and moved into its very own dance studio!
Evolve Dance Academy now offers an amazing 7 dance genres as well as GCSE Dance and A-Level Dance starting in September 2019! Exams are offered yearly to all our pupils and the chance to take part in our bi-annual  dance shows.

Victoria and Tina still remain very close friends and Victoria continues to support Tina throughout her teaching.
